A History
Worth Raising a Glass To

Thought to be Boonah's oldest pub building, the Dugandan Hotel's story begins in the 1880s when Carl Stumer established the building as a general store. It wasn't until 1913 that it became the hotel we know and love today.

The original design included accommodation, a cellar, water tanks to keep liquor cool, a kitchen and servants' rooms. Over the decades, The Dugie has survived floods, renovations and the passing of generations — yet it still retains the country charm that's drawn people through its doors for well over a century.
